Majesty Medium  $12.00 SO A new sport of H. 'Sagae'. Shorter than its parent with margins two to three times wider. The leaves are dark green with creamy-yellow margins that change to white. Very beautiful plant.
Mama Mia Medium  $8.00 SO Fast growing green hosta with broad cream flared edge to the foliage. Good landscape plant. Similar to 'Wide Brim', without the tendency to tattered edges.
Maraschino Cherry Medium  $8.00 This hosta is a sport of 'Cherry Berry'. It has dark green shiny leaves and red petioles and scapes. It is an excellent grower. It spreads by rhizomes, unlike most hostas, so it can fill in an area instead of making just a clump.
Marilyn Monroe Medium  $16.00 4" pot. Very limited supply. Twisted, wavy grey green leaves are slightly cupped and have very ruffled edging. Petioles are reddish. Very beautiful, as the name suggests.
Masquerade Dwarf  $7.00 'Masquerade' forms clumps of tiny white centered leaves edged by a green margin. Purple flowers top the clumps in summer. A flashy hosta sure to capture the attention of the miniature hosta collector.
Mastodon Huge  $12.00 Heavily corrugated blue leaves reach up to 14 inches long by 11 inches wide. They have a thick substance and near white flowers. Similar to Blue Mammoth. Hard to find, an outstanding plant according to Mark Zilis.
Maui Buttercups Small  $9.00 Bright gold, 5 inch mounded leaves are deeply cupped and corrugated. They are of heavy substance and demonstrate good slug resistance. Flared, violet flowers. One of the best yellow hostas--belongs in every hosta garden.
Mayan Moon Medium-Large  $9.00 Sold out.Considered one of the best of the August Moon mutations, this has large, intensely corrugated, heart-shaped leaves that measure 7" long and 6" wide. The leaves are medium green with a bright gold edge. 24" high by 36" wide, white flowers.
Midas Touch Medium-Large  $10.00 SO If you like crinkly, heavily corrugated leaves, this is the one to get. This hosta is a bright gold and has the best corrugation in my garden. Leaves are cupped with very heavy substance. Looks great next to 'Love Pat'. Very showy.
Midwest Magic Medium-Large  $10.00 SO Green-gold leaves are surrounded by a vivid green edge that has a nice sheen. The clump reaches 21 inches high and nearly 4 feet wide. Pale lavender flowers. Sport of Prairie Glow.
Mighty Mouse Dwarf-Small  $13.00 A sport of the award winning 'Blue Mouse Ears'. Mouse ear-shaped leaves emerge blue-green with a creamy yellow edge. By summer, they turn grey-green with a creamy white edge. Incredible substance. Lavender flowers. Good edger or rock garden hosta.
Mildred Seaver Large  $8.00 SO Mildred Seaver forms a large mound with white margined foliage. It is very easy to grow and a nice landscape hosta. Pale lavender flowers.
Minuteman Medium  $10.00 Minuteman has very dark green leaves that have a wide white margin and are slightly cupped. This hosta is a vigorous grower. Very similar to 'Patriot', but has slightly darker green leaves. Makes an impressive clump--the wide white borders are very showy.
Mistress Mabel Medium  $10.00 Medium sized apple green semi-glossy leaves have cream white margins. Very striking when mature. Plantaginea hybrid with fragrant flowers. Named after Austin Dickinson's mistress.
Montana Aureomarginata Large  $11.00 SO Wide cream margin on large glossy green leaf. Subtle white streaking makes for an elegant look. Lavender flowers in June. Need some sun for best color. Arguably the MOST showy hosta there is. If you have room, it is a must. #10 in Popularity Poll.
Moonlight Sonata Large  $11.00 Beautiful hosta with blue green leaves that are undulating and graceful. Good growing habit and forms a nicely shaped mound. Thick substance. Fragrant white flowers. I love this hosta.
Niagara Falls Large  $12.00 SO Huge, 15" long, dark green leaves have a waxy appearance and an attractive pie crust edging when mature. Deeply impressed veins give the leaves a corrugated look. Lavender flowers. Specimen plant. #22 in Popularity Poll.
Night Before Christmas Medium  $9.00 Green leaves with a bold white center. A spectacular plant. June brings lavender flowers. Fast grower. This is the best of all the white centered hostas--it grows really well, and doesn't burn in the centers. It also tolerates a lot of light.
Nigrescens Large  $10.00 Blue-green leaves are very upright in this hosta that is a parent of 'Krossa Regal'. Thick leaves tend to cup a bit and have a powerdy look. The most unique thing about this hosta is its scapes, which are the tallest I've seen--up to 7 feet!
Northern Exposure Large  $11.00 Huge 13", broadly ovate leaves are blue-green with 2" wide, yellow-green margins that lighten to cream in summer. Leaves are corrugated and of thick substance, making them slug-resistant. Very showy.
Old Glory Medium  $12.00 SO Sport of H. 'Glory' and another terrific introduction from Hans Hansen. Heart-shaped leaves have golden yellow centers and irregular, 1 inch wide, dark green margins. Light lavender flowers appear on 24 inch scapes in midsummer. Fast grower, gorgeous.
Olive Bailey Langdon Large  $9.00 Looks like Francis Williams, but displays its variegated color later in the seaon, protecting it from the burning to which Frances Williams is prone. Beautiful round leaves are margined with gold. Nicely corrugated.
Olive Branch Medium  $10.00 SO A sport of 'Candy Hearts'. Heart-shaped leaves are green with narrow, streaked, butterscotch yellow centers. Forms a neat, symmetrical clump. Near-white, bell-shaped flowers are borne on 20" scapes early to midsummer. Really nice coloring on leaves.
On Stage Medium  $10.00 SO Leaves are radiant yellow, changing tocream or chartreuse depending on light levels, later in the season. Narrow leaf margins are two-tone green and streak irregularly toward the midrib. Very showy plant. Comes up late. #20 in Popularity Poll.
Orange Marmalade Medium  $15.00 SO Sport of 'Paul's Glory'. It has blue-green leaves with an orangish yellow center in spring changing to white later in the season. It really does have a light orange coloring in the spring. In demand hosta.
