Fair Maiden	Medium	$8.00	Very wide and irregular, cream-edged form of 'Amber Maiden'. Foliage emerges in spring with a yellowish-white margin which eventually turns white. Somewhat streaky. Lavender flowers.
Faith	Medium	$14.00	Faith is from Big Daddy heritage. It is a medium gold color, and shares the heavy corrugation of its parent. Zilis says it matures as "an exceptionally beautiful mound of intensely corrugated, richly colored gold foliage".
Fantasy Island	Small	$13.00	SO Sport of Island Charm with wider margins, better substance, increased sun tolerance, and more vigor. Dark green leaves with chartreuse jetting and a yellow/cream center. Reddish scapes, lavender flowers. Looks great all season and well into the fall.
Feather Boa	Small	$5.00	SOChartreuse-yellow narrow, lance shaped leaves with slight undulations. Makes wonderful fluffy looking mounds and increases really fast. A great edger plant. # 10 in Mini Popularity Poll.
Fire and Ice	Medium	$9.00	SOBrilliant white center with very dark green margins streaking toward the middle of the leaf. Very beautiful and very popular.
Fire Island	Medium	$13.00	SOBrilliant yellow leaves with rippled margins emerge on red petioles in spring. Red extends up into the leaves. Darkens to chartreuse in summer. Lavender flowers. Vigorous. Best in full shade. Can be seen from across the garden when it first emerges.
First Frost	Medium	$12.00	Absolutely gorgeous sport of Halcyon with the same intense blue color and great form, but it has a golden border that turns white later in the season.. Hosta of the Year for 2010. Available May 15 or when up in ground.
First Mate	Small	$13.00	SOImproved sport of 'Kabitan'. Long, narrow leaves have dark green, heavily rippled margins and gold center that lightens to cream. Has improved vigor, more pronounced variegation, more upright habit, & heavier substance than 'Kabitan'. Lavender flowers.
Formal Attire	Large	$9.00	Beautiful hosta with green centers and a creamy margins up to 1" wide. Moderaly corrugated and somewhat wavy. Lavender flowers. Zilis says it is "truly an outstanding plant" and "has the look of a Sieboldiana with a wide, creamy edge".
Fragrant Blue	Medium	$9.00	Smooth blue green leaves with heavy substance. Fragrant flowers. Foliage turns frosty blue from mid-June to August. This is one of my two favorite blue ones (along with Halcyon) -the frostiness of the coloring is wonderful.
Fragrant Bouquet	Large	$9.00	Apple green leaves with a cream to white edge. I love this one. Very large, plantaginea style fragrant late season white flowers. 1998 Hosta of the Year. 52" wide by 28" high. #21 in Popularity Poll.

Francis Williams	Large	$8.00	Beautiful blue green round puckered leaves with a wide gold border. Early white flowers. For shade only--leaves burn in much sun. Classic hosta. Needs a sheltered spot to prevent wind burn.
Fried Bananas	Large	$9.00	SO Glossy gold leaves grace this plant which quickly forms a large mound. Large fragrant white flowers occur in August. The companion plant to 'Fried Green Tomatoes' and 'Guacamole'. Hummingbird magnet.
Fried Green Tomatoes	Large	$7.00	SO Solid green sport of 'Guacamole', with the same fast growth and attractive shape to the mound. Pale lavender flowers are fragrant. Outstanding cultivar.
Frosted Jade	Large	$9.00	SO Very large frosty leaves with a defined white edge that are held horizontal. A mature plant can reach 4-5" across. Many awards. Lavender flowers. Shade to some sun.
Frosted Mouse Ears	Dwarf	$9.00	SO Sport of Royal Mouse Ears. Blue green leaves with wide creamy white margins and a very thick substance. Leaves are only 2 1/2" long by 2 1/4" wide. Very distinctive.
